A client portal is a cloud-based platform that our firm utilizes for document sharing. Specifically, the client portal is used for:
Yes. We file returns in all 50 states in the U.S. For pricing purposes, you can expect income tax returns in most states to cost approximately the same amount. Only a few states, such as California and Pennsylvania, typically have a higher cost due to increased state-specific standards in those states.
If we did not prepare your tax return last year, please upload the following for you, your spouse and any children or dependents:
The time it takes to prepare your returns depends on the complexity and the pace at which you upload all the requested documents.
1. Before the phone consultation:
· An email will be sent, which will provide helpful resources for you to review before the phone consultation.
2. The Kickoff:
· Review and sign the Engagement Letter
· Access the client portal to finalize your setup (Quick, Easy, and Secure)
· Complete the Tax Questionnaire and return to us at your earliest convenience
3. Upload all documents to the client portal:
· Photo IDs (front & back copies, including spouse’s)
· All tax documents for the filing year (see checklist)
· The last 2 years of returns filed…complete set of IRS, State, & local (All pages)
4. Assemble your returns:
A multi-step preparation and review process to ensure 100% accuracy and maximum tax savings.
5. Finalize:
We provide an unfiled copy of your returns for your review and electronic signature. At this point, you will need to process payment for the remaining balance.
6. E-File your returns:
We will e-file the returns upon receiving confirmation of your signature(s) and payment.
7. That's a wrap!
You will receive a digital copy of your e-filed returns (usually 2-3 business days)

· Upload financial reports (P&L statement, Balance Sheet at year-end, General Ledger at year-end, and Trial Balance at year-end)
· The last 2 years of returns filed…complete set of IRS, State, & local (All pages)
4. Assemble your returns:
A multi-step preparation and review process to ensure 100% accuracy.
5. Finalize:
We provide an unfiled copy of your returns for your review and electronic signature. At this point, you will need to process payment for the remaining balance.
6. E-File your returns:
We will e-file the returns upon receiving confirmation of your signature(s) and payment.
7. That's a wrap!
You will receive a digital copy of your e-filed returns (usually 2-3 business days)
