Sheldon L. Richards, CPA, MS
Sheldon is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Although his original licensure is in the State of New York, the CPA designation grants him authority to practice in any state without applying for additional state-specific licenses. He has been awarded membership to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant and is a Xero Certified Member and QuickBooks Pro Advisor. Additionally, Sheldon is a member of the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce.
Before establishing his CPA practice, Sheldon had worked for several corporations in various positions, including Accounting Manager. He graduated in the top 5% from St. John's University with a Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation. Sheldon is very passionate about utilizing the reach of his profession to provide a lasting positive impact for his clients. Currently, his CPA practice serves the Greater New York Metro Area and nationwide.
Sheldon's first passion was basketball and therefore, passed up academic acceptance offers from both the University of Maryland College Park and University of Connecticut to pursue his first passion at a smaller school. As a man of many talents, he does not allow his profession to define him. Sheldon is very active and is a fan of all sports.
